Contraindications Absolute contraindications for the use of compression stockings are: - arteriopathy obliterans of the lower limbs (AOMI) with systolic pressure index (SPI) < 0,6 ; • la microangiopathie diabétique évoluée (pour une compression > 30 mmHg); - phlematia coerulea dolens (painful blue phlebitis with arterial compression); - septic thrombosis Periodic reassessment of the benefit/risk ratio is essential in cases of: - OHAMI with SPI between 0.6 and 0.9; - advanced peripheral neuropathy; - exudative or eczematous dermatosis; - intolerance to the fibers used (allergy to one of the components) Precautions for use Do not apply compression stockings directly on damaged skin. In case of doubt, consult your doctor. Care instructions To maintain the effectiveness of the compression stockings, it is recommended to wash them daily. Water allows the fibers to shrink and thus recover the initial effective pressure. We recommend that you machine wash your compression garments (separately for the first few washes) with a detergent for delicate fabrics and without fabric softener, at a temperature between 30°C and 40°C. Then dry them away from direct sunlight and heat sources. You can wring out the compression stockings without wringing them out.
