I bought it to replace the normal adhesive tape, because I have recently had surgery on my foot and toes, and I have to put dressings with strips of adhesive tape daily between the toes and in the metatarsal area. In my case the tissue adhesive tape leaves my skin destroyed in just 2 uses, not only is having to remove the remains of glue from the skin, but the pull to remove it that no matter how careful I am it hurts me a lot and also makes me skin reaction. Which together with the postoperative pain and swelling, is torture. The "paper" tape is too rigid and hurts me and does not hold anything. On the other hand, this tape is elastic, comfortable, very cushioning, and you can stick it on and off several times. I have even taken a shower with them on and they have not come off. I have also used it to protect the healed scars of the operation, to avoid friction in the area. It has been a real discovery....
