Impermeable to water and bacteria*, the polyurethane film is permeable to air, which keeps the wound moist and promotes healing. Thin and transparent, they are easy to apply and comfortable to wear for the time needed to heal abrasions, cuts and other wounds. (*) In vitro tests show that the transparent polyurethane film provides a barrier for particles with a diameter of 27 nm or more, provided there is no leakage and the integrity of the dressing is respected.
