Description

Cream that helps relieve itching and skin irritations effectively in its practical cream format. Scratching an itch is a natural defense mechanism of our body; but if the itch persists and you continue to scratch the affected area, you can cause over-irritation of the skin and even an infection if a wound occurs.

The cream with calamine helps provide relief. Calamine is a metallic compound of zinc oxide and ferric oxide that, combined with other ingredients like water or glycerin, is formulated as a lotion or cream. It then becomes an ideal relief for itching and skin irritation due to its soothing properties.

Effective in cases of:

  • Insect bites or stings.
  • Itching from diseases like measles or chickenpox.
  • Sunburn.
  • Irritation in the diaper area.
  • Redness after shaving or waxing.
  • Chafing from friction or excessive sports.

Instructions for use

Spread the cream on previously washed and dried skin, and apply with a gentle massage between one and three times a day, depending on the need.

Glycerin, also known as glycerol, is a viscous, colourless, odourless liquid that is an intermediate product of alcoholic fermentation and is a member of triglycerides. It is highly valued for its moisturising and emollient properties and is therefore widely used in cosmetics.

One of the best-known products with glycerine as a base component is soap. These soaps have a low pH and work as emollient agents on the skin, helping it to maintain and recover its natural moisture level. This is why they are perfect for sensitive or dry skin hygiene.

Glycerin is also present in moisturising creams with an anti-ageing effect, thanks to its ability to soften the skin and increase its elasticity. It has great soothing action, so it effectively reduces irritations, acne marks or small burns, helping accelerate healing. It is also present in shaving lotions, as it reduces friction, as well as in hair care cosmetics such as serums and masks.
