The synergy of Reishi, shitake and maitake supports the normal functioning of the immune system and therefore stands out for its immunomodulatory and antioxidant properties. In addition, several studies have shown the metabolic benefits of maitake supply in the reduction of blood lipids and in the regulation of blood glucose. Regarding the latter, different extracts elaborated from the fruiting body of maitake showed a better tolerance to fasting glucose overload, improvement against insulin resistance and an inhibitory activity of the alpha-glucosidase enzyme.
