ALGOSTÉRIL is effective in patients with hemostatic disorders that are congenital or acquired (being treated with platelet aggregation inhibitors, vitamin K antagonists, or heparin).
INDICATION
- Wound Healing:
- Surgical and traumatic wounds
- Deep/cavity wounds
- Chronic wounds
- Superficial and deep burns
- Infected wounds and wounds with a high risk of infection
- Hemostasis:
- Hemorrhagic wounds
- Intra and postoperative bleeding from the hemorrhagic site
- Hemostasis of puncture sites
ALGOSTÉRIL can be used as an interface with NPWT (Negative Pressure Wound Therapy) systems.
