Alternativa3's Mascao dark chocolate is made from a unique blend of cocoa paste and cocoa butter together with cane sugar. The cocoa used in the manufacture of this chocolate comes from organic farming in Bolivia, without pesticides or harmful chemical compounds. The sugar is made from sugar cane from the Philippines and Uruguay.

Natural ingredients, respect for the environment and the producers are always present, as it is a fair trade product. Thus, producers and consumers relate to each other for mutual benefit, in a framework of fairness and solidarity. The entire production process meets the highest quality standards.
