Protective body lotion that repels mosquitoes

100 ml

Description

Mosquito repellent protective body lotion with essential oils of Andiroba and geranium that repel mosquitoes naturally. Suitable for ages 3 and up. Helps to moisturize and absorbs quickly leaving a soft natural scent. Dermatologically tested on sensitive skin and free of chemical repellents. Does not alter the pH of the skin of children and adults. Suitable for vegans. Controlled content of Nickel, Chromium and Cobalt. Keep out of reach of children. Do not sunbathe with the repellent, it can cause photosensitivity. Do not use on sunburned skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not inhale or ingest. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the label or container. In case of poisoning or accidental ingestion, call the Servicio Médico de Información Toxicológica. Instructions for use

- Apply and spread evenly over the skin areas to be protected.
- Apply the repellent only on exposed skin.
- Avoid applying the product on wounds, small cuts or irritated skin.
- Avoid applying the repellent directly to the face, apply it first to the palm of the hand and spread. Avoid contact with eyes, lips and mucous membranes.
- Never apply repellent on children's hands, as they may get it in their mouths or eyes.
- Avoid applying the repellent in closed places with little ventilation.
- Apply the minimum amount necessary to exposed areas of skin and spread well by hand.
- Wash hands with soap and water after application.
- It is recommended to make a single application and not repeat it unless external conditions so advise. Apply a maximum of three times a day.
- Wash the area of the body where the product has been applied, once the protection time has expired.
- Do not mix with sunscreen, as the mixture may cause allergic reactions and increase its absorption.
- Remove the repellent by bathing the child with soap and water.

Aqua (Water), Carapa Guaianensis (Andiroba) Seed Oil, Glycerin, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Oil* , Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Hydroxide, Ethylhexylglycerin, Xanthan Gum, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool. *From organic farming.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin, i.e. it can be dissolved in fats and oils. It acts as a powerful antioxidant, protecting cell membranes against damage caused by free radicals (as a result of pollution or solar ultraviolet radiation) and therefore helps to prevent skin aging.

It also supports the immune system and inhibits platelet aggregation, depending on the dose. It is also involved in the regulation of several enzymes. Cells use vitamin E to interact with each other and carry out important bodily functions such as maintaining vision and/or movement in muscles and nerves.

Vitamin E can be found in foods such as olive, sunflower or sesame vegetable oils; in nuts (hazelnuts or almonds); it is also present, to a lesser extent, in vegetables (such as spinach and broccoli). Some manufacturers add vitamin E for its antioxidant benefits. Before taking a dietary supplement containing vitamin E, consult a healthcare professional.

In cosmetic products, its antioxidant effect is also utilised, and it is included in the formulation of skincare products (tocopherol and derivatives). It is an anti-inflammatory vitamin and counteracts oxidative damage and preserves collagen in the dermis, helping to maintain skin structure. It is also found in anti-aging products combined with Vitamin C as it manages to regenerate the anti-ox effect of Vitamin E and results in a good antioxidant synergy.
