Description

An ancestor of its cousin Marseilles soap, it was manufactured by the Mesopotamians, and the tradition has been maintained ever since in the Syrian citadel of Aleppo.

CHARACTERISTICS

Olive oil is cooked very slowly for several days in a cauldron, following the ancient process of saponification. At the end of cooking, when the paste is ready, bay berry oil is added to enrich and perfume it. The quantity of oil added is what determines the quality of the soap. The soap dries for several months. INDICATION

To soften the skin, strengthen the hair, make the skin resistant to the sun, eliminate perspiration odors, eczema, dandruff and psoriasis.
