Pharmaceutical Advice

Propolis is a sap-like substance that bees obtain from tree buds and barks to protect the hive. This substance is then transformed to provide beneficial properties for our overall health.

It is widely used as a dietary supplement to alleviate symptoms in colds or other mild respiratory tract infections such as a sore throat. Its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, in the form of a lozenge, spray or syrup can provide relief. Thanks to its flavonoid content, it works as a natural antioxidant, and also supports the immune system.

It can also be used as a cosmetic ingredient for skin care for its healing, nourishing and purifying properties.

When in doubt, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional.

I have a chronic itchy throat that causes me to cough. With this product I control it quite well but I don't follow the recommended use because I only give it to myself when I have a cough. It works well for me but I don't dare to recommend it to anyone.
