Avène Hyaluron Activ B3 Multi-Intensive Night Cream 40ml is a multi-intensive night cream that contributes to comprehensive skin repair.

It contains pure hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, which act on the causes of aging of the dermis to help the skin look firmer and wrinkles are reduced.

Its slightly orange color is due to the presence of retinal, a form of vitamin A recommended for sensitive skin.

Hyaluronic acid is a substance contained in many tissues in the body. It is found in the dermis of the skin and in cartilage. It has great capacity to attract and retain water. So much so that it is capable of absorbing up to 1,000 times its own weight in water. As time goes by, the body's production of this substance progressively decreases, which means that the skin loses hydration and, with it, elasticity and firmness. This also happens to the joints, where the cartilage loses its water retention capacity and becomes stiffer. This great moisturising power has made hyaluronic acid a widely used ingredient in cosmetic products and it is a great ally for dehydrated or uncomfortable skin.
