Description

Avène Solar lotion SPF50+ 250ml is a sunscreen that provides high protection against UVB and UVA rays without leaving any residue on the skin.

It is photostable (heat-resistant) and provides very high protection for sun-sensitive skin, it is water-resistant and does not contain silicones.

It contains Pretocopheryl, a precursor of Vitamin E (antioxidant), which helps protect the skin from free radicals that cause cell oxidation. Avène thermal spring water provides soothing properties.

Ideal for skin that is hypersensitive to the sun, exposed to extreme sun exposure and allergic to perfumes.

Instructions for use

  • Apply at least 20 minutes before sun exposure.

  • Apply every 2 hours, after bathing, physical activity or sweating, or as and when necessary.

Pharmaceutical Advice

For sunscreen with maximum effectiveness, remember to apply enough, sunscreen spread it evenly and reapply it every 2 hours, after bathing or sweating. In addition to topical sunscreen, use complementary accessories such as brim hats, adjustable sunglasses and suitable clothing. Boost skincare with oral sunscreen (in the form of a food supplement) combined with a balanced diet. Avoid exposure in the middle of the day (between 12:00 and 16:00).

Do not expose babies and young children to direct sunlight. Overexposure causes oxidative damage, leads to photoaging and can lead to the development of skin conditions. Don't forget to apply after sun to both your face and body to maintain the skin’s antioxidants and daily hydration. If you take photosensitising medication or have a skin condition, it is especially important to follow these recommendations. In any case, if you develop blisters, fever or headache after sun exposure, consult your doctor.
