Avène Solar Solar Sensitive Skin Spray Children SPF50+ 200ml is a facial and body sunscreen for children. It is water resistant and helps protect the skin thanks to its strong SPF50+.

Like the entire Avène product range, it contains thermal spring water that helps to revitalise cell development and soothe irritated skin. This sunscreen spray is suitable for sun-sensitive and fairer skin, as well as any skin type exposed to intense sun exposure.

Ideal for children. Fragrance-free and leaves no residue on the skin.

Instructions for use

  • Apply at least 20 minutes before sun exposure.

  • Apply every 2 hours, after bathing, physical activity or sweating, or as and when necessary.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Using sunscreen is essential to protect and prevent UVA and UVB rays from penetrating the skin. The sun filters included in sunscreen create a barrier on the skin that protects it from irritation, burns, allergies and redness. Babies and infants need special attention, as their skin is not able to fully synthesise melanin and is more fragile. It is especially important to use high protection factor sunscreen with anti-UVA filters that are water-resistant. For sunscreen with maximum effectiveness, it must be applied in appropriate quantities and spread evenly over the entire surface of the skin, applying it every 2 hours, after bathing or sweating.

It is also important to avoid exposure to the sun in the middle of the day (from noon to 16:00) and it is advisable to use dietary supplements to boost sunscreen. Using aftersun is also advisable so that the skin recovers moisture and maintains its natural antioxidants. If you are taking photosensitising medication or have a skin condition, it is particularly important to follow these recommendations. If you develop blisters, fever, or a headache after sun exposure, consult your doctor.
