Bactigras Grz 10X10Cm 10Pcs 7457

Bactigras is a sterile gauze impregnated with paraffin and chlorhexidine acetate, individually packaged in peel-open pouches. It is a CE-marked single-use medical device indicated for different types of wounds at risk of infection or already infected. It can be used for:

  • Burns
  • Scalds
  • Lacerations
  • Abrasions
  • Ulcers on the lower extremities
  • Other skin lesions

The product acts as a barrier between the wound and the secondary dressing, allowing exudate to pass into the absorbent dressing. The chlorhexidine acetate gradually released by the gauze provides long-lasting action against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria.

It is important to:

  • Not cover more than 10% of the total body area with Bactigras.
  • Avoid use in case of sensitivity or allergy to chlorhexidine.
