Description

Dry or very dry skin is characterized by a lack of water and lipids that cause a deterioration of both the inside and outside of our dermis. The best known features of dry skin are scaling, tightness, fragility or dullness. To alleviate these symptoms, you must pamper your skin daily with an intense moisturizing treatment for dry skin.

Balneum Intensive Lotion is a moisturizing lotion for dry and very dry skin that will deeply nourish your skin, providing deep and long-lasting hydration while strengthening the skin barrier.

This lotion contains ceramides, lipids that restore and solidify the structure of the skin by providing deep moisturizing to prevent flaking, and urea, a substance that will prevent water loss.

Instructions for use

Apply to any part of the body, especially to large areas of the skin, massaging gently until completely absorbed. Can be applied several times a day.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Urea is a very versatile ingredient in cosmetics. Depending on its concentration, it can serve different needs. In concentrations of up to 20%, it works as a deep moisturiser for cosmetic use and helps to treat flaky skin. In higher concentrations it works as an exfoliant. Its moisturising and penetrating power offers good results to treat severely dry skin, nails, scalp, calluses and other conditions, such as psoriasis or eczema.
