Highly absorbent alginate dressing for wounds with moderate to heavy exudate, of any size, shape, and depth. It promotes a superior absorption compared to other alginate and hydrofiber dressings. It is recommended for filling cavities.

The design and structural integrity of the dressing allow for:

• Cutting the dressing and adjusting it to wounds of various sizes, shapes, and depths.
• Adapting to the wound bed, which is important for the healing process.
• Removing the dressing in one piece with a minimum of pain and trauma.

The absorption and gel formation, which retains the exudate inside the dressing, prevents leakage that can damage the periwound skin. Once in contact with the exudate of a wound, it turns into a soft cohesive gel that provides optimal conditions for wound healing in a moist environment.

Size: 3x44cm.

Can be used on all wounds with moderate to heavy exudate and partial or complete depth. May help control minor bleeding in superficial wounds. Can be used with compression therapy. It should not be used on dry or lightly exuding wounds or to control heavy bleeding. It is indicated for pressure ulcers, venous leg ulcers, arterial ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, donor sites or traumatic wounds.

Alginate dressing made with 85% calcium alginate and 15% carboxymethylcellulose (CMC).
