Biatain Super Adhesive Dressings 12.5x12.5cm 10pcs is a Class III disposable medical device with CE certification. It is a sterile superabsorbent hydrocolloid dressing for wounds with moderate to high exudate.
This dressing consists of:
- A high-absorption pad surrounded by a hydrocolloid adhesive that helps prevent maceration of the surrounding skin.
- A non-adherent polyethylene mesh as an interface with the wound, maintaining the appropriate moisture level in the injury and preventing adherence between the dressing and the wound.
Thanks to its composition of polyethylene, cellulose fibers, and SAP, the pad:
- Instantly absorbs exudate, retaining it inside even under compression.
The highly oxygen-permeable polyurethane outer film provides:
- A barrier against external bacteria.
- Good breathability.
This product is indicated for acute and chronic skin lesions with medium or high exudate.
It is recommended to store the dressings horizontally at room temperature (25°C) and not to dispose of them in the environment as they are not biodegradable. For information on contraindications or allergies, it is advisable to contact the manufacturer.
