Description

Product made by BIOCOP from organic farming. This bread made from wholemeal spelt wheat contains oat flakes. It is rich in fibre. Because of the grains from which it is made, it provides a feeling of satiety more quickly and helps to maintain it for longer periods of time. Its high fibre content makes it ideal for improving digestion and helps in the prevention of diseases such as high cholesterol, blood glucose control and constipation. It is suggested for breakfast as a sandwich with turkey ham, cheese and fresh vegetables of your choice. To enhance its flavour, it is recommended to toast lightly for 1 to 2 minutes to obtain a crunchy texture. It is also recommended to heat for 5 minutes until completely toasted and eat as toast with sweet or savoury spreads.

Pharmaceutical Advice

To prevent constipation, it is important to maintain a good water intake and eat a balanced diet, rich in vegetables and fruit, as well as whole grains to promote bowel regularity. These foods provide both soluble and insoluble fibre, both of which are necessary for the digestive system.

Exercising regularly is also advisable. Fibre-rich food supplements or plant extracts can also provide additional support. On the other hand, laxative medications (oral or enemas/suppositories) can alleviate occasional constipation and provide fast relief. These medications are not suitable in certain situations. Consulting a healthcare professional is recommended.

If it is a recurrent problem, consult a healthcare professional for a correct diagnosis and follow-up treatment appropriate to your needs.
