Description

It is a pure organic açaí powder obtained from the small purple berries of the açaí, a tropical palm that grows mainly in the Amazon region of South America. The pulp of these berries is delicious and is consumed as a delicacy by the indigenous population. In addition to their excellent taste, these berries are prised for their high nutritional value. Rich in antioxidants (high Orac value), omega fatty acids, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, fibers,etc.

Açaí contains 10 times more antioxidants than blueberries and 30 times more than the red vine, which explains its current success on a global scale. The berries are consumed especially in the diet of high-level athletes or just to maintain health.

Biotona açaí berries are cultivated in Brazil in a 100% organic way and are subject to a rigorous selection immediately after harvesting before being reduced to powder in a freeze-drying process. In this way, smell, colour and taste remain almost the same as the fresh fruit.

This drying process also preserves all the phytonutrients naturally present.
