Description

It is a refined jade green tea from Japan with a subtle "umami" taste.

It is produced exclusively from young tea leaves which, according to tradition, are harvested by hand in early May (at the first harvest) after shading the bushes for 4 weeks.

Its beneficial properties are many and varied, from its antioxidant properties to its relaxing effects (which contrasts with the fact that, thanks to its caffeine content, it also provides energy without getting on your nerves). It is also famous for helping to lose weight by speeding up the body's metabolism.

Suitable for vegans.

80g.

- Put 1 to 2g of tea powder (either 2 bamboo spoons or ½ teaspoon, depending on your preference) in a bowl and cover with water (70-100ml).

Pharmaceutical Advice

Matcha tea is a variety of green tea originally from China and widely used in Japan. Instead of infusing the tea leaves to drink, the whole leaves are used in powder form. This consumption method makes it possible to obtain more health benefits than the traditional method.

Because of the way they are cultivated, matcha tea leaves contain a high concentration of chlorophyll and amino acids and do not have the typical bitter taste of ordinary green tea.

The most noted components in matcha tea include EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate), which has a high antioxidant capacity, L-theanine (which has a relaxing effect) and caffeine (which has a stimulating effect). Each person will be more or less sensitive to these substances and will need to adjust their tea consumption accordingly.
