It is a superfood that comes from the leaves of Moringa oleifera, a fast-growing tree that grows in the dry, sandy soils of the (sub-) tropical areas of India and Africa.

This product is obtained from a part of the tree that is suitable for consumption, which justifies its designation as a "miracle tree". Even in Ayurveda, the traditional Indian medicine, moringa is mentioned as a natural remedy and can be used for many diseases.
