Description

Matcha tea is the whole leaf of green tea that, after a special process of cultivation, harvesting, and drying, is ground to obtain a product that multiplies the benefits of green tea. Matcha tea calms and relaxes, improves our mood, and helps with concentration.

Instructions for use

There are many ways to prepare and consume Matcha tea. On one hand, we can prepare and consume it as an infusion; the Japanese tea ceremony is the most traditional, or as a conventional infusion. The traditional infusion can be prepared by adding half a teaspoon of Matcha tea to a cup or container with hot water, about 90°C without reaching boiling, and mixing it vigorously until it is completely dissolved. It is advisable to mix it with a small milk frother. The traditional Matcha tea ceremony is carried out with the chashaku (bamboo scoop) and the chasen (bamboo whisk). We add two scoops of chashaku for 75ml of water and then use the chasen to whisk it vigorously until we achieve a mix and have foam on top. In addition, it is well known for its uses in baking and cooking; we can make delicious cakes or sauces.
