Description

Deodorant powder, formulated to help excessive sweating, maceration and bad odour of the feet. Powdered product made with ginger extract with efficacy to solve excessive sweating of the feet. It presents refreshing and disinfectant properties. Prevents and absorbs odours, regulates perspiration keeping feet fresh and dry all day long.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Sweating is a natural mechanism to regulate body temperature, a process that intensifies during physical activity or when feeling nervous. Sweat is made of water, mineral salts and waste substances which, when in contact with the skin microbiota bacteria, are degraded, resulting in an unpleasant odour.

The feet are one of the areas that produce most sweat, due to the high concentration of sweat glands and skin folds, as well as the use of closed footwear that prevents proper ventilation. Foot deodorants help to limit sweating, neutralise odour and reduce bacterial proliferation. Powder and spray treatments are available and can be applied directly to the feet or in the shoes to ensure disinfection.

Some ingredients that help eliminate moisture and have antiseptic properties are potassium alum, zinc and talc. Use these deodorants with suitable, breathable footwear, and follow good hygiene guidelines. If itching or irritation occurs, consult a healthcare professional.
