Brothier Coalgan Sterile Hemostatic Wicks x5 is indicated to stop cutaneous and mucosal bleeding and to heal wounds < 8cm2.
Coalgan is a local hemostatic based on calcium alginate fibers in the form of a 4 cm wick.
It is recommended in the following situations: nosebleeds (epistaxis), cutaneous bleeding (cuts, abrasions, puncture wounds), oral bleeding, dental extractions. It is used in children, adults, pregnant women and patients with congenital or acquired hemostatic disorders.
