Etiaxil Gentle 24h Aluminium-Free Roll-On Deodorant 2x50ml is a roll-on deodorant designed to prevent odours for 48 hours, avoiding stains on clothes and without hindering the perspiration process. Formulated with diatomaceous earth with antibacterial properties, a plant-based anti-humidity complex with horsetail and sage to soften the skin, and zinc citrate that acts as an astringent to reduce perspiration, this deodorant offers complete action. Its citrus fragrance provides an instant feeling of freshness. Suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive. Hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested. Alcohol-free. Pack of 2.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Sweating is a natural mechanism to regulate body temperature, a process that intensifies during physical activity or when feeling nervous. Sweat is made of water, mineral salts and waste substances which, when in contact with the skin microbiota bacteria, are degraded, resulting in an unpleasant odour.

Deodorants or antiperspirants are cosmetics with one of the following functions: blocking some of the sweat glands (aluminium salts), deodorising sweat (flavouring agents), with antiseptic activity (alum mineral) or capable of rebalancing odour-causing microorganisms (pre- and probiotic ingredients). If the skin is irritated, avoid products containing alcohol and opt for soothing and moisturising ingredients instead.

You can find deodorants in several formats. Spray deodorants dry quickly, although they are not recommended if your skin is sensitive or reactive. Stick or roll-on deodorants are easy to apply and provide a feeling of comfort. Cream and soaked wipes allow for application to specific areas of the body with hypersweating issues. Finally, there are also cleansing gels and powders with a deodorant or antiperspirant function.
