Description

Dermaclin Sulfur Soap Pill 100g is an antiseptic and antibacterial soap that cleanses the skin deeply, as it helps to remove accumulated grease and dirt. It also helps exfoliate dead skin cells and tighten pores, contributing to good skin health. This soap is suitable for preventing acne breakouts.

It is made with vegetable oils and sulphur, a composition that helps to treat acne, enlarged and clogged pores, seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff.

Instructions for use

Soak the sulphur soap bar in warm water and rub it over the desired area of skin. Do not rub excessively to avoid damaging the skin. Never use if the skin is cracked or burnt.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Seborrhoeic dermatitis is a skin condition that usually affects the scalp. It can also affect other oily areas of the body such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

Persistent scaling with itching or discomfort usually occurs. Its formation is related to excessive activity of the sebaceous glands and alteration of the skin microbiome (overgrowth of fungi of the genus Malassezia). It can be aggravated by the effect of some medications.

Certain factors can trigger the appearance of seborrhoeic dermatitis, so it is advisable to keep them at bay or take preventive measures: stress, extreme temperatures, oily skin or skin with underlying acne, excessive alcohol consumption or obesity.

To improve seborrhoeic dermatitis, it is recommended to use non-irritating face soaps and/or shampoos with specific ingredients to counteract the problem (sebum-regulating, soothing, keratolytic, antipruritic, plant extracts with antiseptic and antifungal properties, etc.). In the case of shampoos, I recommend alternating their use with another very gentle and balancing cleanser. In a facial routine, as well as a specific facial cleanser, complete the treatment with an emulsion that includes some of the ingredients described above, and oil-free sunscreen. I recommend avoiding soaps that are too astringent, as well as cosmetics with too much of an oily phase, so as not to increase the sebum in the skin.
