Description

Capsules rich in zinc, a mineral that contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and nails, and biotin, which contributes to the maintenance of normal hair. Instructions for use

Composition

Sunflower oil (Helianthus annus L.), L-cystine, coating agent: gelatin, humectant: glycerin (E-422), emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, ferrous sulfate, emulsifiers: magnesium salts of fatty acids (E-470b), yellow beeswax, zinc oxide, vitamin B5 (calcium D-pantothenate), colorants: iron oxide yellow (E-172) and iron oxide black (E-172), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), coloring: patent blue V (E-131), vitamin B8 (D-biotin).

L-cystine is a sulphur-containing amino acid that is contained in keratin, the protein that makes up nails and hair. A good dietary intake of L-cystine therefore contributes to good hair and nail health. Food sources of L-cystine include meat, cephalopods (such as cuttlefish and squid), nuts and seeds, and spirulina algae. It can also be added to the diet in the form of a booster supplement. Taken with vitamin B6, it is a good support for healthy hair fibre formation and nail growth.
