The Epitact Thumb Pain is a rigid splint designed to relieve joint pain at the base of the thumb and slow the progression of rhizarthrosis. This device keeps the thumb in a resting position, reducing stress on the trapeziometacarpal joint and helping to alleviate pain.
Features of the splint:
- Custom-made and thermoformable.
- Machine washable at 40°C.
- Avoid using aggressive stain removers.
- Air dry naturally, without exposing to temperatures above 50°C.
- Do not apply to open wounds.
- Regularly check the hand in case of severe edema.
