Pharmaceutical Advice

Glycerin, also known as glycerol, is a viscous, colourless, odourless liquid that is an intermediate product of alcoholic fermentation and is a member of triglycerides. It is highly valued for its moisturising and emollient properties and is therefore widely used in cosmetics.

One of the best-known products with glycerine as a base component is soap. These soaps have a low pH and work as emollient agents on the skin, helping it to maintain and recover its natural moisture level. This is why they are perfect for sensitive or dry skin hygiene.

Glycerin is also present in moisturising creams with an anti-ageing effect, thanks to its ability to soften the skin and increase its elasticity. It has great soothing action, so it effectively reduces irritations, acne marks or small burns, helping accelerate healing. It is also present in shaving lotions, as it reduces friction, as well as in hair care cosmetics such as serums and masks.

I have been using this gel on dermatologist's recommendation due to my atopic skin condition and it is wonderful.

It cleanses my skin without drying it out and leaves it very soft. I had been having itchy skin after showers for a while and the truth is that since I've been using it my skin is much better.

Very moisturizing, leaves a pleasant scent. Together with the body milk it delays the appearance of dermatitis. With other brands I have not achieved this, this one works for me.

Very respectful of the lipid layer. If it were a little more abundant in terms of the foam it makes it would still be better.
