Thermoformable wrist splint for immobilization

Description

Immobilizes the wrist and thumb. It is an Exos wrist brace in TL that slows down the development of degenerative diseases. The splint immobilizes the first metacarpal in a neutral position preventing it from locking. It is designed to reduce pain and inflammation by not allowing mobility in the wrist and thumb. It is made of breathable fabric. It is waterproof so that the patient can get it wet and shower with it. It is prepared for daily use and hygiene since, apart from the fact that it is made of an antimicrobial material that makes bad smell disappear. This splint is thermofromable to adapt to the anatomy. It is heated in a hot air oven, at sufficient temperature to soften the plastic inside. It adapts on the person where it hardens.
