It helps to improve digestion, soothes throat irritations and helps balance blood pressure. It is a food with properties and health benefits that combines well with dairy products, fruits, in salad dressings, sauces, pastries and as a substitute for sugar. It contains nutrients such as calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, zinc, phosphorus, potassium, vitamins B, C, D and E, and antioxidants. It has not been manipulated or pasteurised.
