Description

Freestyle Optimum Glucometer 1ud is a glucometer that from a small blood sample allows to know the levels of blood glucose and ketone bodies in blood. Blood glucose is the amount of sugar circulating in the blood and that not produced in a normal way insulin which is who controls it can rise dangerously.

Another effect of the lack of insulin is the incomplete metabolization of fats, which results in ketone bodies. If the amount rises too high, DKA (diabetic keto acidosis) occurs, with risk of life for the sufferer.

Suitable for diabetics.

Instructions for use

Using the lancing device, obtain an adequate blood sample.

Place it on the meter's test strip.

Wait until the final result is displayed as indicated on the screen.
