Garnier SkinActive BB Cream Moisturising Anti-Spot SPF50 50ml The Garnier BB Cream Anti-Spots SPF50 Medium Tone of 50 ml is a moisturising cream with sun protection factor SPF50 that helps to even out skin tone, providing a natural finish and preventing the appearance of wrinkles and sun spots. Its formula hydrates the skin for 24 hours and is enriched with antioxidant Vitamin E to prevent premature ageing. It contains mineral pigments that offer an even finish for perfect skin. This BB Cream is ideal for daily use, giving a fresh and radiant appearance. Its lightweight and comfortable texture, along with its SPF50 protection, shields the skin from damage caused by UV rays, without containing parabens. Dermatologically tested, this cream is recommended for those who are concerned about skincare and prefer not to use foundation daily.

Melanin is the biopolymer responsible for skin and hair colour and is produced by melanocytes, cells located at the base of the epidermis and in the hair follicle. Sometimes, this melanin accumulates in certain areas of the dermis, resulting in skin spots, which are usually darker than the rest of the skin. The most common are called solar lentigines, caused by ongoing exposure to the sun, but there are also other types, such as melasma or actinic keratosis.

How can we prevent the appearance of skin spots? The first (and most important) preventive measure we should take is using good sunscreen. Ideally with a high protection factor, which helps to block the action of UVA-UVB rays on the skin. It is also especially advisable to avoid exposure to the sun during the central hours of the day and to use accessories such as sunglasses or hats to avoid the direct impact of the sun.

Following a facial routine specifically designed for blemish-prone skin is very important to prevent the appearance or reproduction of blemishes. Anti-blemish cosmetics often contain exfoliating and depigmenting ingredients that help to soften the pigmentation and help to even out skin tone. A good facial care routine starts with an anti-spot serum to boost the action of your usual cream. Active ingredients such as Vitamin C, Glycolic Acid, Niacin or Cholic Acid are perfect for treating this type of skin.
