Description

Gynophilus LP 2 Vaginal Tablets is a vaginal probiotic indicated for regenerating the vaginal flora and alleviating intimate discomfort. Thanks to the prebiotics and probiotics, the Gynophilus LP prolonged-release vaginal tablets soothe the mucosa and allow for the restoration of the vaginal flora. The production of lactic acid by the lactobacilli maintains the vaginal pH, forming a protective barrier against infectious agents. In cases of vaginal mycoses, they ensure prevention and avoid recurrences. Indicated in cases of vaginal itching or irritation. Can be used as a follow-up to a local antifungal or antibiotic treatment, alongside an oral treatment (usually antibiotic).

It's a pity that the sale of these vaginal tablets will be stopped by EU decision. The effectiveness of oral tablets is non-existent. They're a pure marketing product, because once they've passed through the gastric juices, I can't see how 1: there'll be any living lactobacilli left; and 2: how they'll act vaginally. I'd love to hear from the EU "experts" who made this ridiculous decision. So, I say to you: get your organic plain yoghurts, ladies! It'll be a bit cold, but the result will be better than taking oral tablets. And a lot cheaper too!
