Gynositol 30 sachets is a special medical food for women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) that contains myo-inositol, produced naturally by the body and present in our diet. Research suggests that myo-inositol may reduce the insulin resistance seen in women with PCOS, helping to alleviate some of the symptoms associated with this condition. It also contains folic acid or vitamin B9 (5-MTHF), a vitamin belonging to the folate family. If you wish to become pregnant, a folic acid (vitamin B9) supplement of 400 micrograms (µ) per day is recommended at least 1 month before conception and up to 3 months after.For adults only, it should be used under medical supervision.Food supplements should never replace a healthy, diversified and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
