Description

Herbes del Molí Burdock Root Bio 80g is a purifying and slightly diuretic plant. This action is due to its essential oil and potassium mineral salts. It is therefore a great help for people who need to increase the amount of urine, such as in cases of gout, high blood pressure, fluid retention and urethritis.

Its root contains inulin and mucilage, substances that have a soothing effect on the intestinal tract, improve digestion and act as a mild laxative. Externally, burdock leaves, due to their antiseptic, antibacterial and healing active principles, are used in the form of compresses for the treatment of various skin problems, including acne, seborrhoea and boils.

It is slightly hypoglycaemic, which is why it can be used as an adjuvant to control blood glucose levels, as, when properly administered by a specialist, it can help to reduce the doses of drugs or insulin used. It stimulates appetite and is therefore recommended against anorexia nervosa.

Instructions for use

Add one teaspoon, per 250ml of water, in a cup, teapot or infuser ball. Steep the tea, filter if necessary and drink hot or cold. Read the directions on the package before brewing. Water temperature, as well as steeping time, may vary according to the type of tea or infusion.
