Description

Dietary supplement formulated with vitamin D3 and sunflower oil. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus, to the maintenance of normal blood calcium levels, to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, to the normal functioning of muscles and the immune system and to the process of cell division.

Vitamin D3 insufficiency has been found to be closely related to hypertension, left ventricular hypertrophy, congestive heart failure and atherosclerosis due to cholesterol deposits. Vitamin D3 thus inhibits and controls the renin-angiotensin system. Vitamin D3 enhances the pumping of the heart and "feeds" its musculature. It has also been found to be related to peripheral vascular disease.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Vitamin D, also known as calciferol, is one of the fat-soluble vitamins that is essential to support normal bone and teeth formation and helps to absorb calcium, increasing their strength and keeping them healthy. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that contribute to a healthy immune system and muscle function. It also helps to regulate blood phosphorus level.

Vitamin D can be obtained in three different ways: through the skin by exposure to the sun and from foods and/or supplements that contain vitamin D. In case of vitamin D deficiency or excess, it is important to consult a healthcare professional for diagnosis and advice. Remember that dietary supplements should not replace a healthy and balanced diet.
