Indasec® Postpartum First Days 12 pieces
limited stock
Indasec Pospart Normal Tocologic Pads with Wings 14 pcs. are pads with wings for the second part of the postpartum period. These pads absorb the most abundant losses of the first days after childbirth.
They are hypoallergenic pads made of natural cotton fiber, do not alter the natural acidity of the vaginal mucosa and keep the skin fresh and soft.
In addition, they reduce moisture and allow optimal perspiration.
Use as usual compresses.
Cotton
After a vaginal or caesarean birth, secretions known as lochia (a mixture of vaginal fluids made of blood and placental tissue that are secreted during the 4 to 6 weeks after birth) are produced. If the lochia is foul-smelling or causes fever or pain, it is important to see a gynaecologist.
These secretions vary day to day. Postpartum pads should also adapt to every specific moment's needs. During the first few days after childbirth, secretions are more abundant and pads that cover a larger area and have a greater absorption capacity are recommended. They should be changed as often as necessary. Afterwards, the size of the pad can be adjusted according to changes in secretions.
The most important aspect to take into account is the material of the pad: for the first few days, 100% pure cotton is highly recommended (especially the area in contact with the skin). This ensures better healing of the vulvar area and less irritation (especially if there are stitches). It is the most hypoallergenic and softest material. Subsequently, pads that combine other materials can be used, such as cellulose, with wings for better support, etc. You can choose the most comfortable one for you at any given moment.
Fantastic for the first days, they have wings, adhesive and so they do not move and are thinner than the usual ones
