Description

Indasec® Postpartum First Days 12 pcs. are cotton pads that help absorb losses during the first days of puerperium or postpartum.

The main benefits of Indasec Febus Postpartum First Days are due to its anatomical shape and side adjustments for greater comfort; 100% hypoallergenic cotton, which provides great absorption and retention; cotton fabric, whose interlacing prevents fibers from adhering to the wound; breathable waterproof film, which prevents the liquid from passing through, guaranteeing the breathability that the skin needs; and adhesive fixative, which ensures optimal fixation.

For hygienic reasons, no returns or exchanges will be accepted for this product.

Pharmaceutical Advice

After a vaginal or caesarean birth, secretions known as lochia (a mixture of vaginal fluids made of blood and placental tissue that are secreted during the 4 to 6 weeks after birth) are produced. If the lochia is foul-smelling or causes fever or pain, it is important to see a gynaecologist.

These secretions vary day to day. Postpartum pads should also adapt to every specific moment's needs. During the first few days after childbirth, secretions are more abundant and pads that cover a larger area and have a greater absorption capacity are recommended. They should be changed as often as necessary. Afterwards, the size of the pad can be adjusted according to changes in secretions.

The most important aspect to take into account is the material of the pad: for the first few days, 100% pure cotton is highly recommended (especially the area in contact with the skin). This ensures better healing of the vulvar area and less irritation (especially if there are stitches). It is the most hypoallergenic and softest material. Subsequently, pads that combine other materials can be used, such as cellulose, with wings for better support, etc. You can choose the most comfortable one for you at any given moment.

100% cotton compresses. I have allergy problems, and they seem to me of maximum quality. Very good. I've used others that say they're cotton and something they wear because they give me allergies

Perfect for after leaving the hospital, when it is still stained enough, absorb well and have a large size appropriate to the needs of those first days. Do not disturb and are very soft
