It works by means of a LED display, where you can check both the temperature and the internal settings of the device.

Exposing thermometers to extreme temperatures or excessive humidity is not advisable, as this may affect measurement accuracy. Leaving the thermometer at room temperature for at least half an hour before use is recommended.
