Buckwheat (fagopyrum esculentum) is a pseudocereal native to Central Asia, also called buckwheat. It has high quality proteins, essential amino acids and a low glycemic index. Buckwheat Flakes are very rich in Lysine and other essential amino acids (arginine, methionine, threonine and valine). They provide B vitamins, iron and beneficial fatty acids such as oleic, linoleic, palmitic and linolenic. They are perfect for athletes due to their high protein content.
