Description

The buccal interproximal space is the area between the teeth occupied by the gum. It is a difficult area to reach with toothbrushing and, therefore, when we brush our teeth we usually leave food remains to be removed. If we do not complete our oral hygiene rituals with the use of interdental brushes, we will favour the development of cavities and gum diseases such as gingivitis or periodontitis;

Interprox gel is a toothpaste specifically prepared to combat the appearance of interproximal bacterial plaque and improve oral hygiene. By applying the gel with an interdental brush, you will be able to eliminate all the rest of the food present in your mouth, ensuring a complete oral cleaning.

Active ingredients of Interprox gel

  • - Cetylpyridinium chloride: antiseptic with antimicrobial efficacy, prevents bacterial plaque formation and protects against gum infections
  • - Zinc lactate: provides prolonged antiseptic activity and fights halitosis.
  • - Allantoin: prevents gingival retraction and strengthens your tissue. Reduces inflammation and bleeding of the gums.
  • - Sodium fluoride: remineralizes enamel and prevents cavities.

In addition, Interprox gel is non-abrasive, respecting the teeth and improving the brush's slippage in the interdental space. Take care and protect your teeth and gums, get a healthy smile;

Instructions for use

Choose the interdental brush size that best suits your teeth, apply the gel to the brush, and slide it between the teeth, from the inside out without turning it;

Pharmaceutical Advice

Two types of Zinc can be found in mouthwashes and toothpastes: zinc citrate and zinc chloride.

Zinc citrate helps to reduce plaque build-up and its effects and therefore helps to prevent cavities and periodontal disease. Zinc Chloride has an anti-tartar effect and helps to reduce bleeding.

To maintain optimal oral hygiene, remember to brush your teeth 30 minutes after every meal and avoid drinking water or eating after your oral hygiene routine. Also, remember to visit your dentist a couple of times a year to check the state of your dentin and to have your teeth professionally cleaned.
