I don't know if I'm convinced by this method. The first time I used it, if I put the bag on my feet I touched the top of the microwave, I laid it down and the minute it opened with a burst of accumulated steam that apparently couldn't get out through the orifice. This time the thing went well but in the end the bag ends up stained by the part of the seal touching the top of the microwave (which is usually full of dry splashes of various debris) Think then you have to open the bag out there and take out what you have sterilized, so before you still have to clean the bag on the outside.
