Purple or intensive purple? That is the question

I’ve used the violet crush shampoo for a couple of years. My hair is totally silver grey so the purple tint is enhancing. My latest purchase did not appear to be tinting at all, it was only after a while I realised there were two different shampoos. I think it’s very disingenuous of John Frieda to trick us, presumably so we’ll buy both the ordinary purple and the intensive. I am not happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shampoo was lovely to use, foams up and gives the hair a good clean. I left the shampoo in my hair for a few minutes, it did seem to take away the brass colour in my hair after the first use. It is slightly messy to use, but worth it. Smells nice.

It neutralises any brassy tones and leaves my hair colour looking as good as it does just after Ive left the salon! It smells great and leaves my hair looking, healthy, shiny and glossy. It helps with my frizziness too! I follow it with John Frieda Brazilian sleek Frizz ease conditioner which is also brilliant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried many purple/silver shampoos and I've spent a lot of money trying to find the perfect one but this one has the perfect balance of not drying my hair out and neutralising the blonde. You only need a tiny bit of shampoo to lather. Will 100% buy this again! I'm on the right hand side of this photo
