L-Cystine, Rapeseed oil (Brassica Napus L. and Brassica Rapa L. seed), Gelatine (Glycerine (E-422)), Magnesium Oxide, l-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Ferrous Sulphate, Zinc Sulphate, Emulsifier (Soy Lecithin (E-322)), Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Thickener (Yellow Beeswax (E-901)), D-Calcium Pantothenate (Pantothenic Acid), DL-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Thiamine Mononitrate (Vitamin B1), Colouring (Oxide, Iron Hydroxide (E-172)), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12), D-Biotin (Biotin).

Pharmaceutical Advice

L-cystine is a sulphur-containing amino acid that is contained in keratin, the protein that makes up nails and hair. A good dietary intake of L-cystine therefore contributes to good hair and nail health. Food sources of L-cystine include meat, cephalopods (such as cuttlefish and squid), nuts and seeds, and spirulina algae. It can also be added to the diet in the form of a booster supplement. Taken with vitamin B6, it is a good support for healthy hair fibre formation and nail growth.
