Description

Occasional constipation appears at pivotal times when we change our daily habits either through a change in diet or prolonged rest. Among the most common causes of occasional constipation are travel, weight control diets, a sedentary lifestyle, a low-fiber diet, low fluid intake or medication.

Laxaristo is a food supplement based on plant extracts that stimulate intestinal activity. By combining the properties of the sacred bark of the shell, senna leaves, frangel bark and fucus stem, the evacuation of feces is encouraged

Instructions for use

Dietary supplements should be taken in the context of a varied and balanced diet and as part of an active lifestyle. Take one capsule a day.

Sunflower oil, dry extract of sacred shell bark (rhamnus purshianus d.c.)) - 8,84 %, senna leaf extract (cassia senna) - 7,36 %, frangula bark extract (rhamnus frangula) - 7,22 %, thickener: white beeswax, emulsifier: soya lecithin, fucus stem extract (fucus vesiculosus l.) - 2,21 %, BOVINE GELATINE, HUMECTANT: GLYCERINE, DYE: E172.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Senna is a plant widely known for its laxative properties. It contains substances (sennosides), that are responsible for these properties. Dietary supplements containing senna extract can be used for occasional constipation. However, it is important to stress this occasional use: use for more than a week is not recommended without supervision from a healthcare professional.

This plant is not indicated in cases of inflammatory colon diseases or abdominal pain. If in doubt, it is best to consult a professional. Excessive use of this plant can cause intestinal mucosa irritation and/or a drop in potassium levels in the blood, that may have further effects on overall health. Use dietary supplements according to the product’s label and, in case of constipation, remember to include high-fibre foods in your diet, drink water and avoid a sedentary lifestyle.
