Citronella is a tropical herbaceous plant with long, erect, linear leaves 90 cm to 1 m long, with rough, sharp edges and pale blue-green color.

CHARACTERISTICS

It is cultivated in India, Thailand and Indonesia. The variety "Java" is rich in citronellal. - It is used for its aromatic properties (mosquito repellent, insect repellent, but also anti-inflammatory, fungicide, digestive tonic and immune stimulant). - In cases of mycosis or colitis.
