Description

Mam Set 3 Bottles + Soother 0-6 months is a set that includes 3 glass bottles that fit the baby's needs from birth to 6 months. It also includes a very soft silicone soother that adapts ergonomically to the baby, without interfering with their breathing and integrates a clip button for easy attachment.

This box contains 3 highly heat-resistant glass bottles, which can be sterilised at high temperatures and are dishwasher safe. They also have a wide neck for easy filling and a measuring. The set includes 1 glass bottle of 170ml with a 1-flow nipple, perfect for newborns. It also includes 2 medium-flow 260ml glass bottles with 2 nipples.

Instructions for use

Bottle:

  • Clean and sterilise before first use.

  • Fill the bottle with your baby's milk.

  • Read the instructions on the inside of the box for proper use of the product.

Soother:

  • Before using the soother for the first time, sterilise with boiling water for 2 minutes, squeeze the teat to remove the water and leave it to air dry.

  • Repeat sterilisation if the soother gets dirty or falls on the floor and always once a day to eliminate potential bacteria accumulated through use.

  • Place in baby's mouth to soothe him/her, to help him/her fall asleep and/or in case of not breastfeeding to reduce the risk of sudden infant death, as it decreases if the baby sucks regularly.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Remember that it will always depend on your baby's acceptance when choosing a soother. One of the things to look out for when choosing a soother could be material: latex (rubber) or silicone. Latex is a 100% natural product, amber in colour and has a soft and elastic texture that most resembles the feeling of the mother's breast. It is a hygroscopic material, meaning it absorbs water and retains odour. It is a natural material therefore it wears down faster than silicone. It is recommended for infants who already have teeth, from 6 to 12 months. Medical silicone is a transparent white chemical product. It is a durable material and does not absorb odours or flavours. Its size does not change with use, although it may adopt the colour of the food it comes into contact with. It is less resistant to biting and pulling by the baby, so it is usually recommended for newborns, from 0 to 6 months. It is advisable to replace the soother with a new one every one or two months and/or discard it as soon as it shows signs of deterioration such as changes in colour, alterations in shape and/or material deterioration. It is important to note that sterilising the soother every time the baby uses it is not necessary unless it falls to the floor or gets dirty. In cases when sterilising is not available, you can simply wash it under running water and avoid cleaning it with your saliva as it may contain antibacterial substances.
