Description

Sodium bicarbonate of soda is known for its many uses in the home, mainly for its use as an antacid to help relieve heartburn and acid indigestion, or to correct the acidity of tomato sauce. In baking, it is used to facilitate the reaction with other components to release CO₂, and help the dough rise, giving it volume and flavour.
