Megasmect Diosmectite 10 Envelopes is a dietary supplement to treat acute and chronic diarrhoea, both in children and adults. It helps to protect the intestinal wall, absorb the microorganisms and toxins that cause diarrhoea, regulate intestinal permeability and provide antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity on the intestinal epithelium.
Diosmectite is not absorbed in the intestine so it has no systemic effects.
Suitable for coeliacs. Lactose-free.
< 1 year: 1 sachet per day (can be divided into several doses).
1-2 years: 1-2 sachets per day (distributed every 12h).
>2 years: 2-3 sachets per day (1 sachet every 8 or 12 hours)
Instructions for use in adults:
1 sachet 3 times a day.
Duration of treatment:
3-5 days depending on the evolution.
Can be taken for long periods.
Dilute the sachets in 25-50 ml of water or milk. They can also be mixed with soups or purees.
Do not use dietary supplements as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
